Practice
I specialize in naturopathic, primary care services. This may differ from a primary care appointment with an allopathic medical doctor in a variety of ways, including time spent, kinds of lab work requested and treatments provided. I am available to see a variety of primary care health complaints. I utilize the ‘therapeutic order’ when determining my treatment approach. The therapeutic order is a naturopathic philosophy that suggests always starting with the least invasive treatment choice. In practice, this looks like starting with different diet and lifestyle factors that may support the patient’s innate healing mechanisms. Botanical, mycological and nutrient therapy would be employed later on if needed. I am also trained in using pharmacotherapy, and when necessary I utilize pharmaceutical treatments as well.
